At the completion of this activity pharmacists and technicians will be able to:

  1. Describe various stages of the ASHP policy making process.
  2. Summarize what happens at the ASHP Regional Delegates Conference.
  3. List three policies being voted on at the 2025 ASHP Summer Meeting.

Medication Safety Updates                                                                                         At the completion of this activity pharmacists and technicians will be able to:

  1. Describe trends in medication safety events.
  2. Identify opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration related to medication safety.
  3. Discuss adverse drug reaction reporting.

The University of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Attendance and completion of online program evaluations and self-assessment tools at the conclusion of the program are required in order to earn credit. This is a knowledge-based activity.

This application-based educational activity provides 1.0 live contact hour (0.1 ceus) of Medication Safety CE to participants who meet the requirements. REQUIREMENTS FOR CE CREDIT
A program evaluation must be completed at www.uripharmacycpd.org within 60 days of the live program date in order to receive CE credit.  Credit will not be submitted after 60 days. CE credit will be transferred to the CPE Monitor upon successful completion of the program evaluation. Transfer of CE credit should be verified at mycpemonitor.net where CE statements are available to print. Please refer to the evaluation instructions that follow for completing program evaluations and reporting CE credit.
